Promontory is a newer project from the Harlan family, located in the western hills of Oakville in Napa Valley. The wines from Promontory reflect the unique terroir of this rugged and remote site. They typically exhibit aromas of dark fruit, graphite, and earthy notes, with hints of violet and spice. On the palate, Promontory wines are powerful yet refined, with flavors of blackberry, plum, and mineral undertones.
