Chateau du Tertre

Château du Tertre 2012 is a refined Margaux with a deep ruby-red color. The nose is aromatic and complex, featuring notes of ripe blackberries, plums, and cherries, with hints of cedar, tobacco, and subtle spices. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, offering flavors of dark fruit, licorice, and a touch of vanilla, supported by well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is smooth and persistent. This vintage pairs well with roasted meats, lamb dishes, and mature cheeses, and is currently drinking well but has the potential for further aging.
