Calvados 1973

Calvados Pays d'Auge distilled in 1973 and preserved until today in oak barrels that have only contained Calvados and regularly regenerated with cider.  Comments published in the Nouvel Economiste of 23.12.1999 : a magnificent balance between fruit and wood. The woody, fine and light, lets the apple express itself: a very Pays d'Auge Calvados with aromas of vanilla cooked apples and a peppery touch. The attack is soft, the mouth silky and enveloping. The maturity has not killed the freshness.
