Calvados Pivet XO

A handsome release from Christian Drouin's range of Calvados - this is an XO expression presented in a carafe and named after Pierre Pivet, Drouin's first distiller. Palate: Citrus sweetness develops, along with baking spices and cocoa. A little bit of plum brandy and more chopped herbs. Finish: Floral and warming on the finish.
