Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise

This sweet, fortified wine from the Southern Rhône Valley features a golden-yellow color with intense aromas of ripe peaches, apricots, and orange blossom, along with hints of honey and spice. On the palate, it is rich and luscious with flavors of tropical fruit, honey, and a touch of nutmeg. The finish is long and sweet, with balanced acidity. Best served chilled at around 8-10°C (46-50°F), it pairs well with fruit-based desserts, pâté, and blue cheeses. It has good aging potential, developing complexity over 5-10 years.
