Opens with an oceanic, briny character with a distant beach bonfire and a peated malt quality on the nose. The palate carries a subtle smoke character balanced by a sweet, burnt shortbread style with late dark chocolate. The finish is medium-long, now with sweet liquorice and chocolate plus lingering smoke and ashes.
