Arbois Vin Jaune

This iconic Vin Jaune from the Jura is made from Savagnin grapes and aged under a veil of yeast, giving it a distinctive oxidative character. It has a deep golden to amber color with complex aromas of hazelnuts, dried fruits, and spices. The palate is rich and full-bodied with flavors of walnuts, honey, and spices, balanced by vibrant acidity. The finish is long and dry. Best served at 10-12°C (50-54°F), it pairs well with strong cheeses, foie gras, and rich dishes. It has excellent aging potential, often improving for decades.
